Why does hot water, rather than cold, open up our pores?

Because your skin opens up your pores when your temperature goes up.

Its part of the bodies cooling processWhy does hot water, rather than cold, open up our pores?
Just like when you jump into a pool or something, you get goosebumps right? Well that is because your skin wants to keep in as much heat as possible. Well the same with hot water, your skin wants to take in as much heat as possible; and eventually if it got overheated, it would release heat as well. Just a tip, but whenever you clean your face or something, use hot water to open the pores and get the dirt out.Why does hot water, rather than cold, open up our pores?
Because hot water expands and cold water contracts
