If I want to use baby or talcum powder to make electric shaving easier and to get a closer shave, will either of these clog my pores and cause breakouts?
Also, how do I know that powders will work with my shaver without destroying it? I use a Braun Contour 5790.Will using powder before shaving clog my pores (or my shaver)?
Powder is never to be used with electric shavers because it will lump in the blades and moving parts. It's best to wash your face with soap and warm water to remove all oil from your skin, dry it, and then shave. You will get a close shave that way.
