How To Deal With Blackheads
Blackheads won't magically go away when you reach twenty-one, but proper cleansing techniques can get rid of them REGARDLESS of your age. It's all in how you care for your skin... it really is.
Here's How:
1. When open pores fill with sebum and are exposed to the air, the oil becomes oxidized and then turns black.
2. Be sure to eat as healthy a diet as you can. It really is important. My son noticed that when he consumed a lot of junk food, his skin grew oilier and tons of blemishes appeared. Sorry, but it's true.
3. It is just as important to be sure that you are adequately cleaning your face. We need to get the dirt and oil off the face each night. But washing too often can result in the oil being replaced. Wash twice a day, but do a thorough job.
4. Be sure to change your pillowcases every night. Oil can build up on the case and that could be ground into your skin.
5. Extractions can be easily done by a professional. It takes mere minutes and the blackheads are gone.
6. Be sure to spend extra cleaning time on the area that are most prone to blackheads. The nose is often forgotten and this area is often riddled with blackheads.
7. Be sure that the towel you are using is clean. A dirty towel will simply rub dirt/oil back into your skin.
8. Facial steamers can often loosen embedded blackheads, making removal easier.
* FACE BLACKHEADS
Usually blackheads are the result of oily skin and blocked pores. After a warm bath the face should be splashed with cold water.
IN a pan add 5-6 cups of water and add the juice of 1 lime. Remove from heat when the water boils. Place on a table and covering the head with a large towel, steam the face. Rub the blackheads firmly with a face towel after 10 minutes of steaming. Wash the face with chilled water to close the pores.
Tips 1:
Boil 3-4 cups of water and add 2 tsp soda bicarbonate to this. Steam a towel with this and place the towel on the face. Repeat 5-6 times. Now rub the face in the area of the blackheads with a paste of 1 tsp curd mixed with 1 tsp of rice flour. Wash with cold water.
Tips 2:
Rub a pinch of table salt mixed with a pinch of the soft soggy portion of a glycerin soap. (Pears) Rub well into the blackheads. Repeat for a week.
Tips 3:
Take 1 tsp of fresh coriander leaf juice with 陆 tsp of turmeric powder. Apply this at bed time and wash in the morning. Repeat for a week.
Tips 4:
Take 1 tsp lime juice mixed with 1 tsp of finelyDoes anyone know any home remedies for pores?
Using egg whites as a mask will tighten your skin, thus reducing the size of the pores. Also, using the yellows of eggs in the same way will reduce breakouts. I would also try witch hazel, which will both tone your skin and reduce the amount of oil and black heads.
I also agree with the cornmeal and buttermilk scrub-the buttermilk is a natural source of lactic acid. Also you may want to try using sugar as a scrub.
Hope that helps!
this article has some great tips for the treatment of acne and scaring hope it helps
wipped egg whites shrinks pore size and which hazel is a good cleanser
Everyday before you go to bed, clean your face. Use pads or soap or whatever you need. After that, get something such as Noxzema and apply that to your nose. Leave that on for 10-20 minutes, wash it off, and go to bed. Do nightly for at least a fortnight. You should see some good results.
Those all sound like wonderfully thought out answers but mine is simple..and i kno it works b/c i JUST got rid of mine! yayness!!
everymorning, i'd look at the area beside my nose and i'd rub it with a wash cloth unitl i couldnt rub anymore. it would become red..but i did this for a very long time. just last wk...it peeled off! i didnt even kno that it could.
Corn Meal and butter milk..sounds gross but my grandmother told me about it when i was a teenager and it works if you can stand the smell of butter milk....use more corn meal than butter milk it makes kind of a scrub that exfoliates the skin...
For blackheads, I just press a dull piece of plastic or metal underneath them and they pop right out. But, unless you get some good answers, I'm still stuck with the pores which are just as bad.
I wonder if people in cold and less humid parts of the country get big pores. Somehow I thought mine came about due to hot, humid, sweaty weather.
