Can pores disappear?

The poors on my cheeks are large. Is there a way to shrink them and even make them disappear? I have acne prone skin so I have to use all oil-free products. Any suggestions (especially inexpensive ones) would be greatly appreciated. Can pores disappear?
Pores will never go away, just like the person above me said, your skin needs to breathe, but you can make them smaller. and Unfortunately acne is non cure able. But treatable and that's a plus! I work in skin care, so I know a few products. You can try Patricia Wexler's acne anti script. Don't be scared. It says ';anti-aging'; and acne/ Although I don't know your age, using a ';anti-aging/acne kit'; is not bad on your skin. You are never too young to start. Plus Patricia Wexler's anti-aging/acne kit is good for sun spots, scar's and marks left by old acne too. The Patricia Wexler kit is about $40.00 and it's a month supply. You can buy it at any Bath and Body Works Location. Patricia is a dermatologist based in NYC, and is named one of the three best dermatologist in the WORLD. If you are not sure about the Wexler I'd recommend ';C.O Bigelow'; face care. It is also sold at Bath and Body Works. They have a wide range of face care in the C.O Bigelow line. For Dry skin, Oily, Normal, and Combo skin. But since you say you have acne, try the products for Oily skin. Bath and Body Works has a 100% guarantee on all products, so if it doesn't help return for your money back. I do not recomment Pro active, because if it may burn your skin, or dry it out. It maybe to harsh for your skin. Please take note whenever you try a new face care regimen you may be prone to more break-outs, and that is because your skin is getting use to the new items. So I recommend you try it for 30 days. Can pores disappear?
There is no way to make pores disappear or shrink them sorry. The thing to do to keep them from clogging up with dirt and oils is to clean it and dry then use a light protective moisturizer to help fill in the pores with what is needed to make skin healthy and do this twice a day and the number one thing you dont want to do is touch your face with your hands at all after moisturizing. By touching it it puts dirt and germs on your skin and pretty much rubs it into the pores and it also creates oil when manipulated by touching.

Also dont create more enlarged pores by squeezing any more.

They can't dissappear..but you can shrink them to where they look like they did.
There is only one way to fix yr problem permanently and that is Lazar resurfacing, but first you need to fix the actual acne problem by going to see a dermatologist and going on something like roaccutaine, then go and see a ';Plastic'; surgeon not a cosmetic surgeon, there is a difference and get Lazar done, yeah it will cost more but it will do the job ONCE instead of stupid creams that do not work on yr skin and you'll be disappointed cuz they don't work and you'll spend the same amount over time anyway so just save the money while you get the acne treatment done which will take a while so by the time yr done you'll have the money for the surgery.
There are so many products out there to minimize pores now.

Affordable.

Biore's pore minimizer line

Mid-Price

Clinique has a great pore minimizer line.

Higher End

Dr. Brandt also has a line call ';poreless';. You can purchase it at Nordstrom or at Sephora. There is a start up kit that it pretty affordable.
you cant make your pores dissapear. You need them anyway, you need your skin to breathe..
No, pores can't disappear, because they are part of your skin. You can use mild cleanser on regular basis, as well as freshly squeezed lemon juice as tonic (just avoid eye area) and clay masks (or baker's yeast masks) or pore minimizing products, Do not forget to remove make up (if any).
Try steam baths 2-3 X per week, if you don't have access boil water and put a towel behind your head and let the steam get to your skin.

Also ice may help shrink your pores. Follow a good skin treatment, stick to it and you will see the changes in a matter of weeks. Word of advice try to stick to the same brand. Mixing brands may create a chemical war on your skin. : )
